Transportation
There are two basic options for transportation to and from the Detroit Metro Airport. They are Checker Sedan and Taxi.
- Taxi rate is approximately $42/each way (variable as it is a metered ride-may be shared)
- Checker Sedan $50/each way (may be shared by up to 4 individuals)
A Checker Sedan link is below. You may make and pay for advance transportation via Checker. If you are traveling with colleagues, this is a good option. Directions for Checker for both airport terminals are available here.
Checker as well as the Taxis will take walk-up patrons.
Other options: We are sending out a survey to determine if any of you have interest in a shuttle from the hotel on your return trip. If there is enough interest, SuperConference will arrange some shuttles and offer return trip tickets at the registration desk during the conference.
- Amtrak
The closest Amtrak station to the Detroit Marriott is the one at Baltimore Avenue. See the directory of stations by clicking the link below. The Baltimore Avenue station is 5 miles from the hotel. A taxi can be taken from the hotel to the train station.
