Unicorn Indexing and Search/Retrieval Workshop : A couple of years ago I failed miserably trying to adequately cover all of the concepts associated with indexing in a short period of time. With a half day session and the expert assistance of Steve MacNeil attendees will leave the session with the understanding required to deal with the what and how of indexing, including making improvements to the users' search experience. Library Catalog Add-ons & Replacements : Future library catalogs in the not too distant future may look very little like what they do now. The purpose of this pre-conference seminar is to provide an opportunity for Unicorn users who have begun using library catalog add-ons or actually begun to move away from the standard WebCat/iBistro/iLink catalogs to come together and share what they have done, why, and how these changes are being received by users.
